This is my first try at stop motion/claymation production. I am satisfied with the video and learned some new skills along the way.

Delicate Flower
To practice using oil based clay and enhance my sculpting abilities I created a small sculpture of a flower. It is very small being only 2" all the way around plus a little extra for the wooden support and clay base. It's a good start for an unfamiliar medium.
Sandy Wave
This is a piece where I created something to fulfill the required dimensions using a frame, skin, and sewing element. The dimensions were 3'X5" with at least 2' of sewing. As I began constructing it, it reminded me of a sharp and powerful wave like the ones surfers encounter and try to ride. Since not all waves are so striking I decided to make my sewed, fabric pieces to resemble the more organic and calm nature of a wave. By using the sand paper as a skin I found a fun way to interpret more natural elements since water can get infused with sand from beaches and so on.
Missing Link Sketches
Here are some sketches brainstorming ideas and materials I could utilize to fill the empty space found in my apartment's laundry room wall:

The Missing Link
This is a missing corner of the wall in my apartment's laundry room. The hole is so bad that you can see the wall studs and insulation.

Infinite Negativity
The concept I used to make this container is negative space. I played with the idea of openings and the space around the wire. I used infinity-shaped wire pieces and connected them to create volume. There are staggered pieces as well as intentional gaps to play along with the overall negative space concept. I did not purposely make it to look dangerous but at closer view many say it resembles barbed wire. Perhaps painting it would have taken that effect away.

What I eat on my off time...
I eat and breathe Flamin' Hot Cheetos. I discovered these bad boys in middle school and haven't parted from them since. It was even difficult for me to stop half way to take a picture. If I'm having a bad day you now know how to make it better. Thank you Frito-Lay.
